品华夏文化之美，阅时代新风之盛。2023年5月27日至6月7日，外国语学院外语语言艺术社团举办了以"薪火传承，讲中国故事"为主题的线上外文写作比赛。比赛旨在弘扬中华传统文化，丰富学生校园文化生活，提升学生综合素质与文化修养。

本次竞赛分英语非专业组、英语专业组和小语种三个组别进行写作比赛，竞赛公平、公正、公开。为贯彻习近平总书记在党的十九大报告中提出的“讲好中国故事，展现真实、立体、全面的中国，提高国家文化软实力”，比赛围绕“外文展示中华文化，故事里读懂中国”的宗旨展开。本次写作大赛要求参赛选手用外文（包括英语、缅甸语、泰语、日语、韩语）讲述中国故事并且表达自己的感悟和见解，创作内容须以中国元素为主，中国元素包含且不限于中国风物、习俗、人物、艺术和精神。

此次活动是外国语学院外语语言艺术社团承办的“未来教师素质大赛”系列活动之一，同学们都积极踊跃地报名参加，在比赛中尽展风采，写作内容饱含情感，他们都在用心讲好中国故事。

遍览同学们精彩的作品，内容丰富多彩，各组别均有不少脱颖而出的佼佼者。参赛作品涉及中华传统文化的有贴春联、赛龙舟、中医、年兽传说、舞狮等；涉及中华传统作品有香包、编织、陶瓷等；涉及中华优秀经典文学作品有《三字经》、《史记》、《红楼梦》等；此外还有一些选手从高铁、杂交水稻、冬奥会等方面入手，展现了我国经济发展的进程；从选手的作文中，我们看到了作为新时代青年的担当，持续传承并发扬中华传统文化。比赛中同学们的妙笔生花，源于对阅读内容的吸收；写作时真情流露，写作内容情感充沛，是勤于积累、勤于动笔的硕果，也是源于他们对中华传统文化的了解与热爱。

此次作文大赛圆满结束。比赛不仅为学生提供了展示自己的平台，也点燃了学生们的写作激情，增强了学生对民族文化和社会主义核心价值观的认同感和自信心，进一步营造了校园学习外语的良好氛围。
